A. Withdrawal instructions

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal as set out below. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside that person’s trade, business or self-employed professional activity:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the last of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Olaf Oberbremer, Mindener Str. 172, 32049 Herford, Deutschland, Tel.: 00491719518512, E-Mail: info@empathy-squad.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not compulsory.

You may also declare your withdrawal using our electronic withdrawal function: Withdraw from the contract. You can also access this function through the link with the same name in the footer of our shop. Enter your name, the details needed to identify your contract and the email address for the acknowledgement of receipt. After checking your details, submit your declaration using “Confirm withdrawal”. We will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email without undue delay, including the content of your declaration and the date and time of receipt. Use of this function is voluntary; the methods described above remain available.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

You must send the goods back or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Our standard designs and your right of withdrawal

The standard designs offered in our shop are printed only after an order has been placed. This production to order alone does not exclude your right of withdrawal. Selecting an available size or colour is not personalisation. The right of withdrawal described above applies to these products.

We grant consumers in all countries to which we deliver the 14-day right of withdrawal described in our withdrawal instructions. Where no corresponding statutory right of withdrawal exists, this right is granted contractually on the same terms. Any more extensive mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

General information

1) Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to provide adequate protection against transport damage.
2) Please do not return the goods to us with postage unpaid.
3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not conditions for the valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.
